Odontopteris. Tree bark/leaves/roots, including Cordaites, Sigillaria, Lepidodendron,
and Calamites. Bush leaves including Sphenophyllum.
Site 3: Calvert County, MD Period/Age: Miocene age/Approx. 25 million years old Fossils: Shark teeth, including Megalodon, Tiger, Snaggletooth, Mako, Thresher, Gray,
Whaler, Cow, Sharpnose, Hammerhead. Scallops, Stingray crushing plates, Sand Dollar fragments,
Crab claw pieces. Many species of snails, including Turritella, Ecphora, and Polynices. Barnacles, coral, porpoise teeth and bones, vertebrae, and many others.
