To get dangerous and harmful pollutants out of the environment and our creeks, and to aid in the beautification of our countries forests
To educate the public of the dangers of ignoring and allowing these seemingly insignificant illegal dumps to exist, and to empower and encourage others to take steps to clean up dumps of their own

First I dug around a little and brainstormed how I would dig up and transport all this trash out of here. Which would include dragging it 75 ft through the woods and across a creek. I decided to use a wheelbarrow to transport the junk through the woods and built a skinny bridge over the creek to go over it. From there I would load it all onto a trailer, that I can then pull up the hill with our Ford Tractor. The next step was to get the right clothes on which includes a long sleeve shirt, pants, and of course tough work gloves. So after I was ready to go I seperated and counted the different types of trash. I began loading up the wheelbarrow and took my first load to the trailer. After I cleaned it all up I took my full trailer and I pulled it up the hill with the tractor. From there I seperated what could be recycled and what could not. I bagged the trash that could not be recycled, and had it taken by the garbage men. The items that could be recycled such as glass, and aluminum, I placed in the recycling container and it was taken away to be recycled. The battery I found I took to Ace Hardware to get recycled.
